I actually took this photo a couple years ago, but it's one of my favourites. My only regret is that I didn't get the rest of the gentleman's head in the frame. I added the aged effect to this picture because it has a very classic, ageless feel for me. That being said, I do still love the original black and white version. We ran into this pair while out for a walk one day. My dog Ernie was very interested in this, the first Boxer he had ever seen--the Boxer was a little more reserved. As a note of interest, the next Boxer Ernie had the pleasure of meeting, smacked him in the head...lesson learned, I guess.
We've recently (March 8th) had a record snowfall in Kitchener-Waterloo: both the single day record (37cm) and the yearly record as well. The last record snowfall was 22.5 cm and was in fact also on March 8th (the year escapes me right now). Regardless, I'm so much more ready for the Spring season I see in this picture...but hopefully it'll be a long Spring--I hate the heat even more than the cold!
