one and only

This is Stephanie--my wife of 2 1/2 years and soul companion for life. I'd say that I made a great life partner choice, but this is one area of my life in which I know God decided to bless me in a way far greater than I ever deserved.

Polar opposites in so many respects, we connect in a billion other ways that truly matter. There are things that her and I can laugh about that no one else in the world would get. She refreshes me with honesty that can only come from true love and I find great comfort in it.

A younger friend of mine once asked me, "How do you know when a girl is the one?" I'll be quite honest and say that until that exact moment I had never really thought about it. But right there and then, without hesitation, it came to me as clear as day..."When you realize that no matter where you go, who you're with, what you do or how much fun it is, you know it would be far better if she was there with you."

And that about sums it up: my life is better because she's here with me.
