As mentioned in my last entry, Steph and I were hoping to hook up with my brother and his wife for a little outdoors fun. Fortunately, we were able to do just that and they took us to Rattlesnake Point Park.A relatively short car ride from Nick's place in Guelph, Rattlesnake Point is a beautiful place to go for a hike or leisurely stroll (I was tending towards the later, as it was a little balmy outside). The trails are wide and well-trodden and the tree cover is great. After our dogs towed us for about 5 minutes or so, we arrived at the edge of a high cliff overlooking the valley below. As hoped, the scenery was quite photogenic and I snapped off about 100 shots in the hour we were there.
One such picture was of the climber you see above. This was a bit of a treat for me, being far from the rock-scaling scene, so I gobbled up the rare opportunity and managed to grab a few keepers.
So what's the other significant feature of this picture? It's my first official posted picture that was actually taken since I started this blog. Finally the blog is serving it's original purpose...not that I don't enjoy posting some of my older favorites.
